Do you have a few hours to spare? We need YOU!
We are particularly interested to hear from drivers who could assist with transporting members of our groups to activity sessions and also transporting staff to make home visits. This is primarily for Thursday mornings to transport members to our group sessions and home again afterward. The group runs from 10.00 until 12.00 making the need to be about 1/2 hour before and after. There are other times when helping members to get to medical appointments is necessary.
Telephone befrienders required. A friendly voice at the end of the phone to check that our members are OK and break the loneliness.
There is an opportunity for a person who is interested in progressing our 00 Exhibition Model Railway. We have just about everything required but need a suitable enthusiast to drive the project forward.
Jigsaw are always in need of volunteers for worthwhile causes and events. Volunteering is a great way to help others in the community and can be very rewarding.
